2nd International Spine (Hybrid) Conference of NESON (INSPINE 2022)

Welcome Note

Over the last two decades, Spine Surgery has seen progress in various dimensions. The principle “towards excellence in spine care” remains the crux of all innovations and refinements in this art. This has been augmented by the collaborative efforts of spine care providers from different specialties, bringing with them their knowledge and skills. This year we organize our bi-annual international meeting with this theme to bring home various facets of advancements in the science of spine care.

We invite all spine enthusiasts and professionals to this two-day hybrid meeting of the Spine Chapter of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons in the city of Lalitpur.

The meeting shall begin with a hands-on cadaveric workshop followed by deliberations on the “National Spine Health Program” where the spine care providers from different specialties along with officials in public health services would discuss the vision “to ensure everyone has access to the highest quality spine cares possible through the health care system”. On 9th April, along with scientific presentations, there would be a theme-based collaborative symposium from the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies Spine Committee, World Spine Column Society, and Association of Spine Surgeons of India.

The organizing committee is committed to organizing the meeting in a structured way to not only allow maximum interactions but also adopt measures to keep our esteemed members safe. We hope this meeting shall bring forth the best of all and help us learn from each other.
